Our music curriculum at Kellington Primary School is ambitious, reflecting our belief in our children. We use music as a vehicle to expand their knowledge and experiences, nurture emotional responses to genres of music and empower our children to explore and discover wider horizons. Our curriculum design is enhanced with opportunities to attend Young Voices and weekly singing assemblies where music from all eras, countries and cultures are explored. Our progressive spiral curriculum broadens our children’s knowledge, ensuring the building blocks for more complex learning and concepts are securely in place. 

We believe our approach to music education produces well-rounded, confident children who appreciate and embrace differences and use this to go out into the world as kind, thoughtful and curious people.
